I believe it was last year she was driving intoxicated and it proved to be fatal for her 6-year-old daughter, Bella Keesee. — Anonymous   Necia Marie Hanson, 28, of Gold Hill is scheduled to go on trial May 9 on charges of first-degree manslaughter, second-degree manslaughter, third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and driving under the influence of intoxicants. An indictment against her was modified Tuesday so that the DUII charge refers to alcohol and/or intoxicants. It previously referred only to alcohol, according to Jackson County Deputy District Attorney Nicholas Geil, who is prosecuting the case. On the manslaughter charges, Hanson is accused of causing the death April 15, 2016, of her daughter, Bella Keesee. For the assault charges, she is accused of causing physical injury to her son, Bernie Robert Keesee, on the same day. Hanson was charged after she allegedly collided head-on with a semi truck near the intersection of Blackwell and Dean Creek roads near Exit 35 north of Central Point.
