WCL BASEBALL Rogues cancel Saturday game due to air quality Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Aug. 1, 2015 at 4:04 PM Posted Aug. 1, 2015 at 4:04 PM » Social News Due to extremely smoky conditions in Medford, tonight’s West Coast League baseball game between the Medford Rogues and Bend Elks at Harry & David FIeld has been canceled. The Rogues and Elks will play two, seven-inning games Sunday to complete their WCL series, with the first game starting at 4:30 p.m. and the second game starting 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Tickets previously purchased for tonight’s game will be honored for Sunday’s doubleheader. The team poster giveaway will also occur Sunday night, with fans receiving posters of the 2015 Medford Rogues courtesy of the Southern Oregon Media Group and Faith Night. It will also be Fred Meyer Family Fun Sunday with vouchers available at the North and South stores, along with the location in Grants Pass. Bend leads the WCL South Division with a 32-13 record, and Medford stands third at 21-25.
