Emergency Services, April 2 Sunday Apr 1, 2018 at 8:11 PM Apr 1, 2018 at 8:11 PM Felony arrests Robbery — Alejandro Isaias Avaloz-Meza, 27, of the 1220 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Avaloz-Meza Saturday night on charges of felony robbery, kidnapping, theft, menacing, coercion, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, a parole violation for manufacturing methamphetamine and a failure to appear for driving with a suspended license. He is being lodged in Jackson County Jail on $240,000 bail. Drugs — Steven Edward Bucey, 23, unknown address. Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bucey Sunday on charges of unlawful delivery of heroin, a felony, possession of heroin, distribution of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of hydrocodone, possession of a controlled substance, a parole violation for possession of methamphetamine and a felon in possession of a weapon. He is being lodged on $52,500 bail. Crime Reports Theft — 1900 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a red backpack was stolen from a motor vehicle Saturday. The value was $200. Theft — 1500 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a motor vehicle theft of a first aid kit, chains for a chainsaw, a camouflage backpack, two tape reels, maps and saw parts. Also diesel was siphoned out of the vehicle. The value was $670. Theft — 700 block of Stevens Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen iPad mini, a money order, a credit card and a brown purse. The value was placed at $2,035.
