State nursing board penalizes two Medford women Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jul. 20, 2016 at 4:32 PM Posted Jul. 20, 2016 at 4:32 PM » Social News The Oregon State Board of Nursing took final disciplinary action against 36 nurses or nursing assistants in the state during its July 13 board meeting. Two Jackson County women were among those disciplined. A release from the state said the board revoked the nursing assistant certificate of Tammy A. Jackson, of Medford, for performing authorized duties when unable due to a psychological impairment, and failing to answer questions truthfully. The board also imposed a $5,000 fine against Apa Pritchard, of Medford, for "being a nurse imposter."
