Medford police Saturday arrested Wear on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail with no bail. Burglary — Krystal Rae Powers, 32, of the 1600 block of Neil Creek Road, Ashland. Medford police Saturday arrested Powers on charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree trespassing. She was booked in jail and released on her own recognizance. Kidnapping — William Leroy Gurge, III, 39, of the 700 block of Cambridge Street, Ashland. Ashland police Saturday arrested Gurge on charges of second-degree kidnapping, third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail on $1,032,000 bail. Burglary — Jared Ely Veysey, 22, no known address. Ashland police Sunday arrested Veysey on charges of burglary, stalking and third-degree theft. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Jessie Gerben Stonebrink, 31, of the 2900 block of Brophy Road, Eagle Point. Medford police Sunday arrested Stonebrink on charges of possession of heroin. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance. Crime reports Theft — 500 block of Hamilton Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday took a report of a shattered window and theft of stereo equipment valued at $969 from a vehicle. Theft — 600 block of Medford Center, Medford. Medford police Saturday took a report of a theft of an Xbox, iPad mini, Xbox games, a knife, golf equipment, clothing and a backpack from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $955. Burglary — 600 block of Black Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police Sunday took a report of a burglary to a building. A safe, chair, personnel files and official church records were reported stolen. Two windows, a door and a metal cashier's box were damaged.
