Hayward scored two goals and had three assists. The Comets held a 3-2 lead after two periods, then received goals in the final frame from Hayward, Russell Biskeborn and Jakob Keyser, who also scored Crater’s first goal. Johannes Ellendorff accounted for the Comets’ other score. For North Medford, Antti Pesso, Gianni Assam and Matthew McClure each scored one goal and had one assist. Advertisement ASHLAND 6, KLAMATH UNION 4 — Cody Schoonover scored three goals and assisted on another to his sister, Tiffany, to lead Ashland at The Rrrink. Griff Sollinger added a goal and an assist for the Grizzlies, Stephen McLaughlin tallied a goal, and assists were made by Galen Sincerny and Maleea Muhlestein. Ashland goalie David Jacobson-Fried made 25 saves. Klamath Union got two goals from Trevelynn Sears and one each from Anthony Galvez and Anthony Olsen. Sears, Colin Runnels and Philip Jodko had assists. Swimming SOC THREE-WAY — At Grants Pass, Dane Stevenson and Christina Cobb helped the Grants Pass boys and girls dominate the three-way meet. Grants Pass defeated both Crater and Eagle Point in dual meets. Eagle Point’s boys and girls downed Crater in the other scored dual meet.
