Good thing you didn’t ask us; we didn’t have a clue. Come to think of it, our readers were dumbfounded as to what to get Dear Old Dad as well. After reading through these responses, please take a moment to answer this week’s question. In a natural follow-up, we go from a question about fathers to a question about what fathers know best. Already, five separate development plans are in their early stages — for resorts that would combine homes and infrastructure with such amenities as riding stables and elite golf courses. Is that much growth that soon such a good idea? Or will the strains of the local and national economies mean that the influx of jobs and tourists will be a welcome sight? Tough question: We’re glad we’re the ones doing the asking. The answers are up to you.
