Mail Tribune Saturday Jan 7, 2006 at 2:00 AM Dec 18, 2010 at 7:21 PM Wanda Lee Crippen Wanda Lee Crippen, 71 year old Yreka resident, passed away on December 28, 2005 at Fairchild Medical Center in Yreka following a short illness. — Wanda was born August 13, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri to Dennis and Ester Bonesteel. She was raised in the Oregon area and moved to Yreka 34 years ago from Ashland. She married Steve Crippen about 40 years ago in Yreka. — She loved her family and grandkids. She bowled with her husband in a local bowling league. She will be greatly missed. — Wanda is survived by her husband, Steve of Yreka; a daughter, Wanda (Pooki) Crippen of Montague; five step-children, Steve Crippen Jr. and Jerry Crippen, both of Central Point, Oregon, Karen Crippen of Denver, Colorado, Sondra Crippen of Anchorage, Alaska and Cindy Wendt of Medford, Oregon; a brother, Albert Bonesteel; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Rose Watkins and Dennis Watkins; and a brother and sister, Jack and Rose Bonesteel. — No services are scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to cancer research. Girdner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Calvin H. Chen Calvin H.
