Tiebreaker needed to determine Cadillac win Greg Glass, Eric Austad, Curt Tyerman and Russ Batzer will represent Southern Oregon at the Cadillac National Finals in January 2001 in Pebble Beach, Calif. Glass, Austad, Tyerman and Batzer teamed to win a three-way tiebreaker Monday in the 2000 Cadillac Invitational at Rogue Valley Country Club. The aforementioned foursome carded a 62 in the event, as did the groupings of Scott Tuttle, Ken Trautman, Tom Egge and Tony Nieto and John Anhorn, Scott Reed, Jerry Eklund and Jim Botsford. The three-way tie for first place was broken when the cards were compared starting with the No. 1-handicap hole and continuing until there was a lower score. Smerdon, M. Jarvis and T. Jarvis, 65. Superior Aquatics places fifth at Reno swim meet The Superior Aquatics team recently placed fifth out of 24 teams at the Reno Aquatic Club Invitational. Erin Ebert, 10, led the charge for the 17 Superior Aquatics swimmers, placing first in the 100 backstroke, 50 butterfly, 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 50 backstroke. Siskiyou Out Back run slated July 8 in Ashland The Southern Oregon Sizzlers Running Club will host the Siskiyou Out Back Trail Run � which begins and ends at the Mount Ashland Ski Area � July 8. The run offers 50K and 15K course distances, with the 50K event starting at 7 a.m. and the 15K event beginning at 9 a.m. Registration is available July 7 at the Ashland Ranger Station from 3-6 p.m. and at the starting line July 8 beginning at 6 a.m. For more information, contact Dana Bandy at 488-2453 or e-mail [email protected] Dow records first ace at StoneRidge Golf Club Ellen Dow of Ashland recorded the first hole-in-one of her three-year golf career recently at StoneRidge Golf Club. Dow, who will be a senior at Ashland High and plays on the girls golf team, aced the 12th hole on June 12. She used a 7-iron from 120 yards. The shot was witnessed by Tony Schultz, Rob Schultz and Ray Eddington. St. Mary�s netter camps scheduled July 10-13 Two St. Mary�s Crusaders� volleyball camps are scheduled July 10-13 at St. Mary�s High. A middle school camp for students entering grades 5-8 will run from 9-11:30 a.m., while the high school camp runs noon to 2:30 p.m. for students entering grades 9-12.
