Central Point police responded to a reported stabbing at about 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Taylor Road, Central Point. Police identified the alleged assailant as Ector Navarro-Sanchez, 32. At the time of the alleged attack, police said Navarro-Sanchez was with an unknown Hispanic male adult and an unknown blonde white female in her early 20s, neither of whom have been located. A man was transported to the hospital with life-theatening injuries after the alleged attack, police said. A phone call Tuesday evening seeking information about the nature of the attack was not immediately returned. Navarro-Sanchez is believed to be armed and dangerous, police said. Authorities advise anyone who sees him not to approach him, and to dial 9-1-1. Police are also seeking information from individuals who may know Navarro-Sanchez's whereabouts or the identities of the people with him at the time of the alleged attack.
