South Medford’s Ryan Fiegi, Grants Pass’ Matt Cowell and Roseburg’s Seth Bauman will all play for the Class 4A State team, which faces the 4A Metro team at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Grants Pass coach Bill Cowell will lead the state team. Phoenix players Mike Smith and Jason Lockett will be joined by North Valley’s Darren Clark on the 3A West team, which faces the 3A East team at 6 p.m. The West team will be led by Phoenix coach Kevin Dixon. Warriors to host playoff game at Bowerman Field The Rogue Warriors semiprofessional football team begins their Oregon Football League title defense at 7 p.m. Saturday at North Medford High School’s Bowerman Field against the Central Oregon Stampede. The Warriors (7-1) beat Central Oregon (6-2) in the regular season and in each of the past two OFL title games. The winner advances to the June 26 championship game. Admission for the semifinal game is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
