Medford police arrested Leachman late Thursday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $10,000 bail, then released on his own recognizance Friday afternoon. Drugs — Carmen Lorene Forret, 48, of the 6700 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Forret appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Friday on an indictment charging her with failure to appear on charges of possession, delivery and manufacture of amphetamines. She was booked into jail and released. Warrant — David Christopher Beck, 39, no address listed. Medford police arrested Beck on a fugitive warrant out of California charging him with grand theft. He was lodged in jail without bail. Crime reports Theft — 700 block of Lawnsdale Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft of $860 worth of tools. Burglary — 1700 Colestin Road, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglary at a vacation cabin. The items stolen had an estimated value of $1,700, but a preliminary report didn’t identify the items.
