Goodwill's attended donation centers will close early because of heat Aug 03, 2017 12:00 AM A A The Southern Oregon Goodwill attended-donation trailer in the north Fred Meyer parking lot, 2424 Crater Lake Highway, is closing at 2 p.m. today because of extreme heat that is expected to linger in the Rogue Valley. In Josephine County, a Goodwill attended-donation trailer in the parking lot of Safeway at 1642 Williams Highway also will close at 2 p.m. Goodwill officials will keep an eye on the forecast and determine whether attendant can safely return to the donation trailers on Friday. Other donation centers remain open.
