Low-cost pet vaccinations offered on Saturday Wednesday Aug 16, 2017 at 4:42 PM Aug 16, 2017 at 4:42 PM The Jackson County Animal Shelter will host low-cost pet vaccinations from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Dr. Sharon Hopkins will administer the vaccinations for $10 apiece. Only cash will be accepted. Rabies and distemper/parvo booster shots will be available for dogs, and rabies and distemper/rhino/calici booster shots will be available for cats. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old. Pets that are ill, on antibiotics, in heat, or on cortisone products cannot receive shots. Nail trims also will be available for $5 apiece, cash only. Dog licenses and rabies certifications will be available for purchase. Call 541-774-6654 for more information.
