St. Mary's frosh Hass named SCL first team Jun 08, 2009 12:00 AM A A St. Mary's pitcher Allison Hass was one of two freshmen to land on the District 4 all-conference softball team. Although Hass finished the season with a 6-8 record, she boasted a 2.10 ERA and led the conference with 146 strikeouts — a 10.4 average per seven innings. She also paced the Crusaders in hits, going 19-for-38 on the season, with a home run, three triples and four doubles. The Crusaders finished the season 6-12 in District 4 and 7-14 overall. The other freshman to make the first team was Prospect pitcher Keirstyn Anderson. Her sister, senior Catherine Anderson, also made the first team. Chiloquin, which rolled to the District 4 title with a 17-1 conference record, was rewarded with five first-teamers, including player of the year senior pitcher Jade Martinez and coach of the year Mark Nigh.
