ASHLAND — A suspect in a 2012 Ashland home invasion robbery who posted bail after his arrest and then skipped town was arrested in Los Angeles Tuesday. Ashland police reported the U.S. Marshals Service arrested 22-year-old Ryan Charles Williams on several outstanding warrants, including failure to appear on charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary and first-degree aggravated theft. The charges stem from a January 2012 home invasion robbery in the 100 block of Alnut Street in Ashland. Williams is suspected of joining Eagle Point resident Dylan Ashmun, 29, and Medford resident Michael Tracy, 25, in holding the sole occupant against his will and stealing money and property. Investigators say the three robbers told the man they were armed and forced him into a room in the home while they robbed the house. Police have said the crime was not random and that the robbers knew where to find the money they swiped. Ashmun pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery in October 2012 and is serving a six-year prison sentence for his crime, court records show. The sentence is being served concurrently with another 10-year sentence for manslaughter, which stems from a case where Ashmun shot another man in the head with a shotgun in Eagle Point. Tracy pleaded guilty in October 2012 to first-degree burglary and was sentenced to three years in prison. Williams is also wanted by Medford police for manufacture and delivery of cocaine, and by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department for failure to appear on charges of felony elude and driving under the influence.
