Emergency preparedness training held in Medford Jan 19, 2017 12:00 AM A A A free emergency preparedness training event will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2141 Brookhurst St., Medford. The event is open to anyone, and signing up is not required. The event will feature talks about the Cascadia Subduction zone, emergency food storage, financial preparedness, 72-hour emergency kits, HAM radio use and other topics.
