North Applegate Road section to close for nine days Thursday Aug 17, 2017 at 5:45 PM Aug 17, 2017 at 5:45 PM A half-mile stretch of North Applegate Road will be closed for up to nine days starting Thursday, Aug. 24. The closure, a quarter-mile in either direction from the Applegate Valley Ranch at 13100 N. Applegate Road, is planned so a failed metal culvert, 48 inches in diameter and 50 feet in length, can be replaced, according to a news release from Josephine County Public Works. The detour, about 2.3 miles in length, will take motorists from Kubli Road past an area just north of Troon Vineyard, then back onto North Applegate Road. Detour signage is in place.
