Medford police arrested Deen Thursday on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then released Thursday evening because of crowded conditions. Drugs — Olegario Quinonez-Aispuro, 27, of the 3200 block of Antelope Road, White City. Quinonez-Aispuro appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Thursday on an indictment charging him with two counts each of delivering a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, delivering amphetamines and first-degree child neglect as well as a charge of possessing amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released. Assault — Richard Brian Peters, 43, of the 800 block of Clay Street, Ashland. Peters appeared in Circuit Court Thursday on an indictment charging him with felony fourth-degree assault. He was booked into jail and released. He was booked into jail and released. Crime reports Theft — 3400 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report Thursday of a theft of a 1991 Chevrolet Lumina van with Oregon license ZEG 085. Theft — 3300 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. A sheriff’s deputy took a report Thursday of a theft of two snowboards valued at $800. Advertisement Burglary — 11600 block of East Antelope Road, White City. A sheriff’s deputy took a report Thursday of a residential burglary in which the loss was estimated at $20,000. Theft — 600 block of Black Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday of a theft of a television, VCR, compact disc player, CDs and video tapes. The items reported stolen had an estimated value of $1,340. Theft — 500 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday of a theft of a 1986 Toyota Camry. Fire calls Training drill — Fir Street, Medford. The Medford Fire Department, a state hazardous-materials team, Medford police and Mercy Flights crews practiced responding to a mock anhydrous ammonia leak that sent a plume of gas toward South Medford High School. The exercise was at a Naumes warehouse on Fir Street Thursday morning.
