Bowlers win medals at State Games of Oregon BEAVERTON � Central Point�s Jennifer Sealy took home a gold medal at the State Games of Oregon bowling tournament. Sealy, bowling in the 14-16-year-old division, bowled a 255, 202 and 180 for a 637 series. Kim Russell, of Talent, earned a silver medal while Summer Everist, bowling in the 17-over division, won the gold in scratch play. Niki Tester, in the 9-under division, won a bronze, while Dean MacInnis took home silver in the boys 14-16-year-old division. Also in the boys, Blake Daniels won a silver medal and Dan Gibson a bronze in men�s scratch play. Lillie Gibson took home a bronze in the women�s scratch 50-59-year-old division. All qualified to go to the State Games of America in St. Louis in 2001. Custance placed third at NAIA cross country meet KENOSHA, Wis. � Oregon Tech�s Perry Custance placed 33rd in a field of 249 runners at the NAIA cross country championship meet last Saturday. Custance, a South Medford graduate, was the third freshman to finish the 8,000-meter course.
