Build the Barn Dance Jan 25, 2008 12:00 AM A A David Pinsky's Royal Blues Revue will present live blues for a dance to be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, Ashland. The band features Pinsky on guitar, Gary Halliburton on keys, Joe Diehl on guitar, Bob Di Chiro on bass and Michael Ruiz on drums. The dance is a fundraiser to benefit the restoration of the old timber-frame barn at Willow Wind Community Learning Center in Ashland. The barn, will be used for an assembly hall and performing arts venue for the center. Grants from regional foundations and gifts from local donors have funded the restoration of the interior of the structure, and some initial foundation work has been completed. Tickets to the dance cost $10. Call 488-2684.
