Travel expert talks marijuana legalization Oct 07, 2014 12:00 AM A A Guidebook author and travel TV host Rick Steves will discuss marijuana legalization and Measure 91 from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave. His presentation titled "Travel as a Political Act: Ending Marijuana Prohibition in Oregon" will be repeated at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at the Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 87 Fourth St., Ashland. The presentation will include details about the approaches of other countries in legalizing and taxing the drug. The events are part of a 10-day tour across Oregon, and the presentations are free.
