Spartans take down Totems Jan 31, 2016 12:00 AM A A The Southern Oregon Spartans defeated the Seattle Totems, 6-5, during Western States Hockey League action at The RRRink on Sunday. Southern Oregon won the three-match series, 2-1. Anton Bukell had two goals, Cy Jenson two assists and Christopher Seto and Andrew Carriere one goal and one assist apiece for the Spartans (23-14), who outshot Seattle, 45-23. The Totems (8-31) trailed 6-3 before netting the final goals of the third period. Southern Oregon next hosts Lake Tahoe on Thursday at 7 p.m.
