Mail Tribune / Jamie Lusch Saturday Feb 18, 2017 at 4:43 PM Feb 20, 2017 at 1:42 PM Colorful lion dancers brightened a rainy morning as scores of people gathered in Jacksonville Saturday to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a run, traditional Lion Dance Parade and activities honoring Chinese culture and its role in the town's history. The event began 12 years ago during the Year of the Dog. With 2017 celebrating the Year of the Rooster, Jacksonville has completed all 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac. [Photos by Jamie Lusch]
