Jackson County reports nine new cases By Mail Tribune staff Oct 04, 2020 01:54 PM A A Jackson County Public Health reported nine new COVID-19 cases Sunday and added a case to Saturday’s total, raising the county’s total number of cases to 1,254. A data entry error led to one case going unreported Saturday. Of the total number of cases, 185 are considered active and infectious, and 88 COVID-19 patients in Jackson County have been hospitalized. Statewide, there were 34,163 cases of the novel coronavirus as of the Oregon Health Authority’s most recent update Friday, and 563 deaths.
