Main St., Ashland, features art and crafts of the indigenous peoples in North and South America. The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. During the month of November see the exhibit, “Tiny Show — Big Impact,” featuring small paintings by all twenty-six member artists in celebration of the holiday season. Art du Jour Gallery: See exhibits by local artists in myriad mediums such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen-and-ink, Conté crayon, collage, sculpture, photography, mixed media and more. The Vault, previously known as the Salon, will showcase the works of multimedia artist Roy Musitelli and fiber/jewelry artist Thalia Keple in the exhibit “World in Perspective,” on display through November. The Main Gallery will feature member artists’ interpretations of the winter season. The gallery, located at 213 E. Fifth St., Jacksonville, and will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Fridays through Sundays. See the annual Calligraphers’ Guild exhibit, “Inspired by the Elements, Earth, Wind, Fire and Water,” and work by featured artist Desmond Serratore, who works in oil paints to create interpretations of Oregon. The Main Gallery will exhibit new work by member artists in a variety of mediums including oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic and fabric. Exhibits will be on display through Nov. 27. Ashland Art Works: The gallery features work of local artists in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, woodwork, fiber arts, jewelry, and garden art. December’s exhibition “Holiday Showcase,” features a diverse selection of artwork made by each of their artist members. Hanson Howard Gallery: The gallery, located at 89 Oak St., Ashland, features works in an array of mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics and fine art prints. November’s exhibition will feature paintings by Wade Schuster and sculptures by Ondrea Levey. Beginning Nov. 25 and running through Dec. 31, see the Gallery Artists Gift Salon, which features a variety of diverse work by the gallery’s member artists. Oak Leaf Studio: Located between Hanson Howard Gallery and Ashland Art Works at 247 Oak St., Ashland, Oak Leaf Studio is the working and gallery space of local artist Leif Trygg, who works in a variety of media such as pastel, watercolor, acrylic and digital imaging. Throughout the month of November see the exhibit “Ballet to Hip Hop,” a new series of drawings capturing the variety of dancer’s movements and styles. Bartlett St., Medford, will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. The Main Gallery will show work by member artists in the exhibit “Signs and Symbols,” on display through Dec. 22. Sculptures and mixed media works by featured artist Lucille Linville will be shown in the exhibit “Small Beginnings,”on display through Dec. 2 in the Community Gallery. The Members’ Gallery features all new work by over 35 RGAC members in myriad mediums. The Berryman Gallery, a satellite exhibition space of RGAC, located on the second floor lobby of the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Schneider Museum of Art: Southern Oregon University’s Schneider Museum of Art Fall Exhibitions feature contemporary abstract art by Mel Prest, “The Golden Hour,” and curated exhibit “Sensate Objects.” The exhibits will be on display through Dec. 10. A solo exhibition of Prest’s work will be in the Main gallery, her curated group exhibition, which features work by thirteen artists will be shown in the Heiter and Treehaven galleries. Masterworks on Loan will also be on display in the Entry Gallery. The gallery, located at 555 Indiana St. Ashland, will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
