Bank robbery reported in Central Point By Mail Tribune Jan 11, 2022 06:16 PM A A Lone male suspect fled with undisclosed amount of cash The Central Point Police Department reported Tuesday evening that a man robbed the People’s Bank at 1017 East Pine St., Central Point, at approximately 3:47 p.m. A man entered the bank, passed a note to a teller demanding money, then fled on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash. “No weapons were displayed during the incident,” according to the statement. Central Point Police Detectives are investigating and additional information will be released as the investigation continues, police added.
