Medford police Monday arrested Wheeler on charges of first-degree theft, first-degree forgery, eight counts of identity theft and a probation violation. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $150,000 bail. Drugs — Brian Frank Kaplan, 42, Vancouver, Wash. An Oregon State Police trooper Monday arrested Kaplan on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of hashish. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — John Stephen Mitchell, 44, of the 600 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Mitchell on charges of possession of methamphetamine, being a felon in possession of a weapon and three counts of driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Christopher Ventura Benware, 22, of the 300 block of Garfield Street, Ashland. Benware appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic drugs and delivery of a controlled substance to a minor. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs, theft, forgery, fraud, identity theft — Daneilla Elaine Carle, 22, of the 300 block of China Gulch Road, Jacksonville. Carle appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of methamphetamine, first-degree forgery, first-degree theft, second-degree forgery, second-degree theft, three counts of credit card fraud and identity theft. She was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Zachariah Marcus Peterson, 20, of the 2200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Peterson appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with manufacturing marijuana and possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Theft — Dalton David Wise, 22, of Toledo. Wise appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft and initiating a false report. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Elizabeth Kara Scholer, 23, of the 11400 block of Tingley Lane, Klamath Falls. Scholer appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of hashish and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
