Medford, Central Point, Eagle Point schools start late Jan 07, 2008 12:00 AM A A (Updated 8:50 a.m.) Slick roads mean a late reopening to school this morning for students in Medford, Central Point and Eagle Point. All three districts plan to open two hours late. Medford has canceled morning kindergarten at Abraham Lincoln, Griffin Creek, Hoover, Jacksonville, Kennedy, Lone Pine, and Ruch schools. Central Point has canceled morning kindergarten at Mae Richardson Elementary. Eagle Point also has canceled morning kindergarten. Medford buses will run on snow routes today. In Central Point, buses will not run on a number of upper-elevation roads, including: all of Evans Creek Road, Antioch Road above Jones Road, Meadows Road above Sweet Lane, Ramsey Road above Pelton Lane, Holcomb Springs Road above Pelton, Sardine Creek Road above the forks, all of Kane Creek Road and Galls Creek Road above the end of the pavement.
