Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend October 24, 2005 Jones holds on for win in saddle bronc riding CENTRAL POINT — Randy Jones of Eagle Point finished first in saddle bronc riding as competition in the annual Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo came to a close on Sunday. Jones, who held a high score of 76 stemming from Saturday, kept a firm grasp on first place after Dusty Otley scored a 74 on the final day to finish second in the event. Other contestants to hold their high-qualifying scores after Sunday’s finale were Lee Lantz (84) in bareback riding, Zeb Lanham (89) in bull riding, Chandra Grover with a time of 14.06 seconds in barrel racing, as well as Larry Goss and Jaye Kuebler in team roping with a total time of 21.1. Paul Cope and Cash Myers finished tied for first place with a time of 8.2 seconds in calf roping and Mark Boultinghouse (4.3) took first in steer wrestling.
