October 12. 2014 2:00AM Richard Clifford Trullinger April 10, 1925 October 06, 2014 Richard "Dick" Clifford Trullinger passed away following a long battle with asbestosis. Dick is survived by his wife, Genevive Jenny Trullinger of 69 years; four sons, Richard, Rex, Ron, and Randy; and numerous grand and great-grand children. At the age of 17, Dick joined the U.S. Navy and served in the South Pacific. Following the war, he began reading meters for the California Oregon Power Company. Forty years later he retired from the Pacific Power and Light Company as the North Umpqua Power Superintendent. In the mid 1980s, Dick and Jenny retired to Roseburg, Ore. During retirement Dick remained active by volunteering with the Roseburg Police and Sheriff Departments and the Lions Club. A military gravesite celebration of life with immediate family members was held October 09, 2014.
