The armed robbery occurred just before 5 p.m. today at the bank at 3369 Crater Lake Highway, near Safeway. Witnesses reported seeing a suspect running east across Crater Lake Highway, into the Forest Hills area off Crater Lake Avenue north of Delta Waters Road. Police said the suspect is armed with a gun and has been described as a white man with no facial hair, standing 6-foot-2, weighing 160 pounds and wearing a KISS-style black wig and beanie cap. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
