On Monday evening, Brian Ditch, 37, crashed his 2005 Yamaha motorcycle into the side of a 2004 Pontiac driven by 81-year-old Charles Boyle. Apparently, Boyle attempted to turn left on Duggin Road from Highway 234. Ditch was cruising east on the highway when Boyle crossed his path, the Oregon State Police reported. The motorcycle flipped into the air upon impact and crashed into the front of a 2005 Kia. Ditch was taken to Providence Medical Center in Medford. Neither Boyle nor the Kia's driver were injured, officials said. Oregon State Police troopers are continuing the investigation and have not arrested or cited anyone involved, officials said. The troopers were assisted by Jackson County Sheriff's Department deputies and Jackson County Fire District 3 crews.
