Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed baking, cross-stitch, crocheting, collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, NASCAR, and the Oregon Ducks football team. She was a very active advocate for breast cancer awareness and part of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She is survived by her devoted husband Bruce; her son, Randy; her stepdaughters, Tiesa and Mandy; her siblings, Linda, Cindy, Morris, Peter, Angela, Erik, Alecia, Jim, Janet, and Jerry; her parents, Bill and Carol; and her grandson, Brayden. There will be an informal celebration of Barbara’s life, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Bruce’s home. “I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7) In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family or a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Abbey Funeral Home.
