86 new cases, no deaths By Mail Tribune staff Dec 05, 2020 04:19 PM A A Jackson County Public Health reported 86 new cases of COVID-19 today, raising the local total to 4,288. No new deaths were reported. The county had 717 active infectious cases as of today, with a total of 41 deaths caused from the novel coronavirus. Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority reported another 24 COVID-19 deaths today, raising the state’s death toll to 1,027. The OHA also reported 1,847 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 today, raising the total to 83,243. The ages of those who died ranged from 59 to 97.
