Medford police arrested McMilon Saturday on charges of attempting to use or carrying a dangerous weapon, reckless endangering and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $11,000 bail. Drugs — Tonia Renee Ledbetter, 37, of the 200 block of Elm Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ledbetter late Saturday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. She was jailed on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Kenneth Edwin Thomas, 25, no permanent address. Medford police arrested Thomas late Saturday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. He was jailed on $15,000 bail. Burglary — Kellen Reese Carter, 21, of the 2500 block of Lucky Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Carter early Sunday on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of menacing. He was jailed on $32,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — 3700 block of Avenue H, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report Sunday of a stolen builder’s laser level with an estimated $4,400 value. Miscellaneous A car crash caused a power outage in several east Medford neighborhoods Sunday evening. Hillcrest Road between Stanford Avenue and East McAndrews Road was closed for about five hours while crews worked to repair power lines downed when a Ford Explorer struck a main power pole on Hillcrest around 4 p.m., said Medford police officer Rob Havice. The Explorer’s driver, George Frederick Kugler, 57, of the 1100 block of Mira Mar Avenue, was treated and released at Rogue Valley Medical Center. A diabetic, Kugler apparently had low blood sugar when his vehicle struck the power pole and another metal light pole, Havice said. Power lines fell onto a vehicle driving behind Kugler, but no one was injured, Havice said.
