Help St. Vincent de Paul Society win $5,000 Aug 21, 2011 12:00 AM A A The Rogue Valley District Council of The St. Vincent de Paul Society is asking community members to participate in an online vote that could earn the society $5,000 to be used in the community. The group's past president, Len Hebert, has been recognized by Safeco Insurance company for a community hero award, resulting from his involvement and service to the poor, needy and homeless of Jackson County. Safeco Insurance will award $5,000 to the hero award recipient who receives the most votes for community involvement.
