Spartans complete sweep of Totems Dec 14, 2014 12:00 AM A A The Southern Oregon Spartans completed a three-match sweep of the Seattle Totems with a 7-2 victory at The RRRink on Sunday. Drew Carriere had two goals and an assist and Doug Gutierrez one goal and two assists to lead the Spartans, who outshot Seattle, 41-19. Southern Oregon (21-5) — which has won 10 straight matches — led 3-1 after the first period. Winning goalkeeper Tymen Edelkoort III had 17 saves against Seattle (6-18).
