PREP ROUNDUP: McLennan doubles down to lead Grizzlies to win By Ashland Tidings staff Apr 24, 2019 08:50 PM A A ASHLAND — Evan McLennan smacked a three-run double in the second inning that put the Ashland baseball team up for good as the Grizzlies lassoed a 10-6 the nonconference victory at North Mountain Park on Wednesday. McLennan drove in another run on a groundout during a three-run fifth inning that put the contest out of reach. Rowan Amann was walked twice, drove in a run and swiped a pair of bases for the Grizzlies (10-8), who got three runs from Eli Westrick. Although the Miners outhit the Grizzlies 13-6, they committed four errors that led to seven Ashland runs. Girls Golf PHOENIX INVITATIONAL: Phoenix senior Giselle Hernandez took medalist honors at the 10-school Phoenix Invitational girls golf tournament at Centennial Golf Club.
