Third crash damages Talent Post Office Monday Dec 26, 2016 at 5:04 PM Dec 26, 2016 at 5:04 PM A wall and counter at the Talent Post Office are damaged after a motorist drove over a parking barrier and sidewalk into the building shortly after noon today. The office was closed for the Christmas holiday and no injuries were reported. This is the third time someone has driven through the east wall of the post office causing extensive damage to the 24-hour lobby open to box holders. In March 2011, a 75-year-old woman caused about $54,000 in damage after driving into the wall. In October 2015, an 80-year-old man drove through the lobby and through a back wall into the mail processing room. No one was injured in either crash. Mail Tribune / Denise Baratta
