LUCIA ZORA, ELEPHANT TRAINER COMING WITH SELLS-FLOTO CIRCUS MONDAY, MAY 17 Above is a photo of Zora, the "bravest woman in the world." Under the spreading white tops of the Sells-Floto circus, which comes here for a one day's engagement May 17, she is known as the "woman who works the elephants." But in her own heart she has another ambition, and that is to be, instead of the bravest woman in the world, the best cook in the world. Thirty tons of elephants are playmates of Zora during the season of the circus. The training and the performing of them form her means of livelihood. They obey her implicitly — and there are elephants among the three herds that no one except Zora can handle. That forms Zora's occupation, but her hobby is cooking. Not only is it a hobby with her, but it is also an accomplishment. For the dishes wich Zora serves of the feast days of the circus, when the regular chefts of the cookhouse are cast out and the women take their places as the purveyors of food, are history with the Sells-Floto family.
