> September 05. 2014 12:01AM ODFW director Elicker will step down ODFW Director Roy Elicker resigns effective next month to take a federal fisheries job. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Director Roy Elicker will leave the agency next month to take a regional management position with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Elicker's resignation will be effective Oct. 10, ending a 21-year stint with the ODFW that included the past seven years as director. He will become the assistant regional director for fishery resources for the USFWS Pacific Region based in Portland. The region covers Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Hawaii. The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission will work with Gov.
