Email Story to a Friend June 10, 2006 Lakeside Foods products recalled The Associated Press The following recall has been announced: about 50,000 self-heating food and beverage containers, manufactured by Lakeside Foods Inc., because the cans may be contaminated by bacteria. No illnesses have been reported. The recall encompasses a variety of products: Wolfgang Puck brand coffee drinks, Decadent brand coffee and hot chocolate, Hillside brand coffee drinks, Chef Jay's brand food products and Yummers brand hot chocolate. The specific affected items are: Wolfgang Puck Rich Caramel Latte, Wolfgang Puck Rich Espresso Latte, Wolfgang Puck French Vanilla Latte, Wolfgang Puck Rich Mocha Latte, Chef Jay's Zesty Chicken, Chef Jay's French Onion, Chef Jay's Hearty Beef, Hillside French Vanilla Latte, Hillside Hazelnut Latte, Hillside Mocha Latte, Hillside Double Shot Latte, Beaumont Gold French Vanilla, Beaumont Gold Double Shot, Decadent Chai Tea Latte, Decadent Hot Chocolate, Decadent Mint Hot Chocolate and Yummers Hot Chocolate. These products were sold at grocery and retail stores and online between March 2005 and June 2006. The products were sold in Oregon, Washington and California, as well as many other states. Consumers should return the products to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
