The crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. during the winter storm that dropped around 3 inches of snow on Grants Pass. Terry Gleason, 55, of Murphy, lost control of his 1994 Chevy Blazer on the icy road and traveled into the path of an oncoming Dodge pick-up. Upon impact, Gleason and 74-year-old Katherine Orr Grubb of Grants Pass were ejected from the car. The Blazer's front-seat passenger, Judith Kay Gleason, 51, of Murphy, was pronounced dead at the scene, OSP said. Grubb was taken to Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass, where she died Wednesday. Judith Gleason was the only person in the Blazer wearing a seat belt. Her side of the car, though, took the brunt of the crash, OSP said. The Dodge's three passengers, Scott Jorgenson, 37, along with an 8-year-old girl and 13-year-old boy, were all wearing seat belts. Jorgenson was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The children were not injured, OSP said. The highway was closed for three hours for cleanup.
