Demetrius Jackson added 15 points and Jerian Grant had 13 for the third-seeded Fighting Irish (28-5). They shot 50 percent, led by 17 and held off the Blue Devils' comeback attempt to beat them for the second time this season and advance to a league championship game for the first time. Notre Dame will face North Carolina tonight. Jahlil Okafor had 28 points on 13-of-18 shooting for the second-seeded Blue Devils (29-4), who had their 12-game winning streak snapped by the last team to beat them. Notre Dame won 77-73 on Jan. 28. Tyus Jones pulled Duke to 68-64 with a 3-pointer with about 3 minutes left. The Blue Devils didn't score again. NO. 19 NORTH CAROLINA 71, NO. 3 VIRGINIA 67 : At Greensboro, N.C., Marcus Paige hit two free throws with 3.9 seconds left to help North Carolina beat Virginia in the Atlantic Coast Conference semifinals. Paige also hit a huge shot to beat the clock in the final minute, helping the fifth-seeded Tar Heels (24-10) hold off the tournament's top seed and reigning champion in a tense finish. NO. 1 KENTUCKY 64, FLORIDA 49 : At Nashville, Tenn., Aaron Harrison and Karl-Anthony Towns each scored 13 points in Kentucky's victory over Florida in the Southeastern Conference quarterfinals. Kentucky (32-0) outrebound Florida 39-33, including a 16-11 edge offensively that created extra chances and earned frequent trips to the free-throw line. Towns also had 12 rebounds. NO. 4 VILLANOVA 63, PROVIDENCE 61 : At New York, Ryan Arcidiacono hit two free throws with 3.1 seconds left after a questionable foul call, and Villanova beat Providence to reach the Big East title game for the first time since 1997. The Friars' Kris Dunn, who shared conference Player of the Year honors with Arcidiacono but outplayed him Friday, made a layup off a turnover to tie it with 12.4 seconds remaining. Arcidiacono then drove to the hoop and Ben Bentil, whose steal and assist led to the tying basket, was called for a foul even though replays appeared to show little contact. NO. 5 ARIZONA 70, UCLA 64 : At Las Vegas, Brandon Ashley scored 24 points and Arizona withstood a late rally to beat UCLA in the Pac-12 semifinals Friday. Arizona (30-3) sputtered against UCLA's zone for long stretches before putting together a 15-0 run in the second half. UCLA (20-13) clawed its way back, pulling to 66-64 behind a 3-pointer by Norman Powell and another by Kevon Looney with 19 seconds left. T.J. McConnell and Ashley each hit two free throws after that, though, sending the Wildcats to the championship game. NO. 6 WISCONSIN 71, MICHIGAN 60 : At Chicago, Sam Dekker scored 17 points, Frank Kaminsky added 16 points and 12 rebounds and Wisconsin beat Michigan in the Big Ten quarterfinals. Dekker and Kaminsky, the Big Ten Player of the Year, combined to score all their team's points in a decisive 9-2 run that broke a 54-all tie. The top-seeded Badgers (29-3) will play Purdue in the semifinals. NO. 8 MARYLAND 75, INDIANA 69 : At Chicago, Dez Wells scored 22 points, Melo Trimble added 17 and Maryland won its first Big Ten postseason game, beating Indiana in the quarterfinals. The Terrapins (27-5) got nine points from Wells in the final 9 minutes and made just enough defensive stops down the stretch to put away the Hoosiers (20-13). They shot 7 of 8 from the free-throw line in the final 39 seconds to seal it. That gave the longtime Atlantic Coast Conference power its eighth straight win and a spot in the semifinals against Michigan State. NO. 9 KANSAS 62, NO. 16 BAYLOR 52 : At Kansas City, Mo., Wayne Selden Jr. scored 20 points and Kansas turned up its suffocating defense to beat Baylor in the Big 12 semifinals. Perry Ellis returned from an injury to add 11 points for the top-seeded Jayhawks (26-7), though their leading scorer limped off the floor after getting tangled up late. Ellis never went back into the game after trainers checked on his right knee. NO. 13 IOWA STATE 67, NO. 15 OKLAHOMA 65 : At Kansas City, Mo., Iowa State rallied from a double-digit deficit for the fourth straight game, then watched Oklahoma's Ryan Spangler miss a point-blank layup at the buzzer that gave the Cyclones a victory over the Sooners in the Big 12 semifinals. Georges Niang had 13 points, Jameel McKay added 12 and Monte Morris had 11 for the second-seeded Cyclones (24-8), who needed a buzzer-beater to beat Texas in the quarterfinals. NO. 20 SMU 74, EAST CAROLINA 68 : At Hartford, Conn., Nic Moore scored 20 points to help SMU beat East Carolina in the American Athletic Conference quarterfinals. Markus Kennedy added 15 points and six rebounds for the top-seeded Mustangs (25-6). They will face Temple in the semifinals. NO. 21 ARKANSAS 80, TENNESSEE 72 : At Nashville, Tenn., Rashad Madden made four late free throws and Arkansas held off Tennessee in the Southeastern Conference quarterfinals. Bobby Portis was 9 of 10 from the line en route to 26 points and Michael Qualls added 20 for Arkansas (25-7). The second-seeded Razorbacks will face Georgia. XAVIER 65, NO. 23 GEORGETOWN 63 : At New York, Matt Stainbrook had 20 points and nine rebounds, and Xavier finally hit the free throws it needed to hold off Georgetown in the Big East semifinals. After struggling at the foul line while the second-seeded Hoyas (21-10) whittled a 21-point deficit to one, the sixth-seeded Musketeers (21-12) made five of six in the final 10.3 seconds to hold on. NO. 24 DAVIDSON 67, LA SALLE 66 : At New York, Tyler Kalinoski beat the clock with a driving layup to cap Davidson's comeback against La Salle in the Atlantic 10 quarterfinals. Top-seeded Davidson (24-6) trailed almost the entire game and was down nine after Jerrell Wright's dunk for the Explorers with 4:45 left, but ninth-seeded La Salle (17-16) didn't score another point. WYOMING 71, NO. 25 BOISE ST. 66, OT : At Las Vegas, Josh Adams scored 27 points and Larry Nance Jr. added 20 to lead Wyoming to an overtime victory over Boise State in the Mountain West Conference semifinals. Wyoming (24-9) will face Colorado State or San Diego State in the title game.
