Restaurant Inspections: Sunday, March 1 Mar 01, 2015 12:00 AM A A Jackson County health inspectors in January evaluated 138 restaurants, all of which passed their semiannual inspections except one, Silver Dragon, 1011 Spring St., Medford. Sixty-six of the restaurants inspected last month received perfect scores of 100. A portion of all the scores runs weekly in the Mail Tribune. Rodeway Inn, 901 S. Inspectors subtract points for violations of “priority” and “priority foundation” items. These include: Foods maintained at improper temperatures, improperly cooled or reheated; not properly protected from contamination, from unapproved origins, unsafe, adulterated or not honestly presented; not date-marked or discarded upon expiration; raw animal foods improperly cooked; presence of rodents or insects; inadequate personal hygiene; failure to clean and sanitize food equipment; lack of an approved water system; toxic chemicals or cleansers not properly stored, used or labeled.
