Teen killed in Phoenix rollover crash By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Jan 25, 2022 08:19 AM A A A Medford woman has been identified as the single motorist involved in an after midnight fatal crash on Interstate 5. Renee Sliger, 19, died in a single-vehicle rollover crash near the Phoenix exit on northbound Interstate 5, according to a release issued Tuesday by Oregon State Police. At about 12:25 a.m. Monday, Sliger was driving a Toyota 4Runner SUV when for unknown reasons she drifted off the road. The SUV rolled and ejected Sliger from the vehicle. First responders including Oregon State Police troopers, Talent police and Mercy Flights paramedics rushed Sliger to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, but Sliger ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
