Necia Marie Hanson, 27, was arraigned Monday on charges of first- and second-degree manslaughter as well as driving under the influence of intoxicants for the crash on Blackwell Road that killed Bella Keesee, 6. The child was ejected from Hanson's vehicle when it crashed head-on into a semi about 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Blackwell and Dean Creek roads. Hanson was arrested at the scene. She remains free after posting bail Wednesday at the Jackson County Jail. Hanson was ordered back to court for a pretrial conference May 31, court records show.
