Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend August 16, 2005 Emergency Services Felony arrests Vehicle theft — Brandon Edward Jenkins, 22, no address available. Medford police Monday arrested Jenkins on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of amphetamines and for violating his parole from a previous burglary conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday without bail. Vehicle theft — Robin Elizabeth Sliger, 45, no address available. Medford police Monday arrested Sliger on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief. She was lodged in the county jail, where she was released Monday because of overcrowding. Crime reports Burglary — 10000 block of Ashland Climax Road, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report Monday of a break-in to a residence, during which miscellaneous items valued at $1,200 were reportedly taken. The break-in and theft were reported at 12:45 p.m. Theft — 800 block of East Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Monday of the theft of a CD player, a gold ring and 115 CDs from a vehicle. The items stolen in the theft, which was reported at 9:09 a.m., were valued at $2,500. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 99 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its new court-ordered cap of 230 inmates. Of those, 41 were released before their scheduled court appearances, 14 were granted an early release from a sentence and 44 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
