Letters, Aug. 5 By Mail Tribune readers Updated: Aug 12, 2022 05:03 PM A A Infrastructure vote After reading the article on major road improvements coming to the east side of Medford which millions of federal dollars have helped make possible, I hope Rep. Cliff Bentz doesn’t have the nerve to take credit for this. He voted no on the infrastructure bill passed by Congress last year when he had the chance to support this. If he shows up at a ribbon cutting or whatever occasion to celebrate these sorely needed projects, it would be the epitome of hypocrisy. So, in spite of Bentz’s no vote, east Medford will be enjoying safer, more efficient traffic in the years ahead. Can’t wait to see the work get started. Brian Fitzpatrick Ashland TMTO show was outstanding My 7-year-old granddaughter and I attended the July 31 performance of Teen Musical Theater of Oregon’s “Beauty and the Beast.” She had never been to a live theatrical performance before, and is in love with all things magical that involve singing, dancing, costumes and acting. I gave her our tickets for her birthday, way back in June. Well, we were not to be disappointed! This hidden gem of young people on stage not only captivated her for over two hours, but she also begged to go to their next performance. The singing voices of this group are as good as any professionals. The costumes were incredible and true to the well-known Disney production. I was impressed with the scenery and stage presence of the kids, from the smallest part to the main players. I am hopeful my granddaughter will someday be involved in this wonderful organization. The price is right and the production was nothing short of wonderful! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication TMTO! We will be back! Karen McCoy Talent
